About the role
- Lead and manage defense-focused quantum technology programs from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with internal company priorities and DoD acquisition strategies.
- Translate DoD operational requirements into actionable proposals from QCi’s current roadmap.
- Support capture planning and proposal development, ensuring messaging and deliverables reflect QCi’s mission of providing impactful, immediate solutions.
- Coordinate with product, engineering, research, and government stakeholders to ensure programs remain on track for contract-related deliverables.
- Drive Agile workflows and maintain transparent reporting through tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Teams.
- Advocate for ethical innovation by communicating realistic capabilities and maturity levels, preventing overpromise and protecting warfighter trust.
- Represent the company in strategic briefings with DoD commands, innovation labs, and partner ecosystems.
- Mentor team members and reinforce a culture of continuous improvement aligned with QCi’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Active or eligible security clearance
- 10 years of U.S. Government or military program management experience.
- Deep understanding of DoD acquisition lifecycle, rapid innovation programs (e.g., SBIR, DIU), and defense technology transition pathways.
- Proficiency in guiding cross-functional teams in translating quantum research into operational applications.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience managing tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to articulate QCi’s vision while reinforcing transparent, truthful messaging.
