About the role
- Design and develop transmitters and receivers for CNS transceiver products
- Design and optimize RF circuits (chains of components or individual parts such as filters, limiters, couplers)
- Perform schematic capture and RF routing
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (power, digital, mechanical) and coordinate with suppliers and customers
- Provide technical support during transition to production and support production activities
- Translate system performance and operation specifications into hardware requirements, design, and test specifications
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 5 years experience, or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- 8+ years experience with Microwave/RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and/or test
- Transmitter / Power Amplifier Design experience
- Receiver / LNA Design experience
- 8+ years experience with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS, Microwave Office, Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition) and analytical tools (e.g., MATLAB)
- 6+ years experience translating system performance and operation specifications into hardware requirements, design, and test specifications
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined, excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate within multifunctional, multidiscipline teams
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams, organizations, suppliers, and customers
- Background in designing for manufacturability, producibility, cost constraints, yield and margin analysis (preferred)
- Problem-solving skills and ability to identify alternate technical solutions (preferred)
- Experience in technical/proposal writing and oral presentations (preferred)
