About the role
- Communicate and translate technical data packages to suppliers
- Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and risk
- Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis
- Manage supplier requests for product and process changes
- Manage non-conforming product
- Drive root cause and corrective action
- Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with and mentor teammates
- Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders
- Support travel as needed (Minimum 25%)
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in STEM with 5 years’ relevant experience
- Relevant experience such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, system engineering, manufacturing & quality systems, or technical supplier management
- Experience in a cross-functional business involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience performing supplier assessments (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Master’s Degree in specified majors (preferred)
- Existing Secret Clearance (preferred)
- Commodity experience related to RF & Radar (desired)
