About the role
- Support a Raytheon program in a classified environment as a Network Operations Center (NOC) System Administrator.
- Monitor the Infrastructure Service Provider (ISP) hosting equipment and services consisting of computers (server), networks, storage, and backup & archive.
- Answer and manage calls in a 24x7 monitoring center and provide prompt and professional responses to incidents and inquiries.
- Monitor system dashboards for the status of services and create Incidents in the Incident Management system.
- Assign Incidents to the appropriate Tier-2/Tier-3 assignment groups and assist with troubleshooting services to restore full Mission Capability.
- Coordinate with other service Providers when incidents span system boundaries.
- Investigate and rectify procedural discrepancies and identify areas of process improvement.
- Work scheduled Panama shift pattern with day/night rotation every 28 days.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with Poly security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- On start date- Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security +, CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA +, CND
- Experience in a technical operations environment
- Experience with Windows
- Ability to work a “Panama Schedule” for 24/7 shift coverage (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off; 28-day day/night rotation)
