About the role
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and end-users, to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Conduct gap analyses and recommend solutions that align with enterprise strategies and objectives.
- Develop detailed functional and technical specifications to guide application development and deployment.
- Support the evaluation, selection, and implementation of enterprise solutions, ensuring optimal integration with existing systems.
- Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams, facilitating clear communication and understanding of project goals.
- Create and maintain documentation, including process flows, user stories, test cases, and training materials.
- Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely delivery of enterprise solutions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system issues, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Provide end-user support and training as needed to ensure successful adoption of enterprise solutions.
- Utilize the RTX CORE framework, method, and tools.
- Travel possible, up to 10%.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or Business Information Systems and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- 3+ years demonstrated experience working in a digital role as a business analyst supporting enterprise solutions.
- Experience with requirements elicitation techniques, including interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in creating process diagrams, use cases, and business requirements documentation with strong knowledge of digital business processes, enterprise applications, and system development life cycles.
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as ERP, or cloud-based solutions.
- Experience working in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
- Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), SAFe, Six Sigma, RTX CORE.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and hands-on experience with data visualization tools or reporting platforms.
