Research Analyst

• Develop an understanding of Routeware’s contract and billing process
• Serve as primary point of contact for all incoming billing disputes or discrepancies
• Research and timely resolution of customer billing disputes; identify related Sage Intacct & Salesforce discrepancies and work cross-functionally to resolve
• Assist with documenting updates to the Company’s order-to-cash processes to streamline billing and AR
• Provide support for daily invoicing functions
• Daily support of finance-related Zendesk inquiries
• Input data into accounting system, verify accuracy, and ensure systems are in balance
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare and post general ledger entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain internal controls
• Assist in the monthly close and creation of the monthly close report for Management
• Assist in financial analysis and department reporting
• Prepare standard and specialized financial reports in accordance with GAAP
• Provide supporting documentation and analytical information for tax advisors and external audits
• Provide accounting support for mergers and acquisitions
• Work with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Assist in special projects as needed
