About the role
- Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
- Maintain the general ledger and support financial reporting
- Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyze variances and trends; develop financial dashboards and KPIs
- Collaborate to improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Assist in optimizing accounting software and automation tools
- Support tax filings and regulatory requirements; maintain documentation
- Partner with operations and department leaders on budgeting and forecasting
- Serve as a finance resource for cross-functional initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge or GAAP and experience with financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Accounting/ERP systems
- Proven experience contributing to process improvements and supporting internal controls
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
