About the role
- Define, Design, Project Manage and Deliver.
- Lead the design, delivery, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of technical enablement content for technical pre-sales teams.
- Workshop with technical sales experts and product management to understand market differentiators, technical pre-sales knowledge gaps, and understand critical interfaces between products that amplify value for our customers.
- Handle diverse enablement projects requiring judgment in selecting methods.
- Responsibilities include delivery of RA and partner enablement sessions independently and supports multiple solutions.
- Leverage existing content, identify gaps, drive improvements to content and deliverables, and develop enablement that aligns with our role-based approach, training strategies, and broader Technical Enablement offerings.
- Lead delivery of established technical enablement programs globally through virtual and in-person Domain Expert led delivery ensuring alignment with global regions and on-time delivery of content.
- Define and manage our strategy for supporting emerging technologies (non-RA tech i.e. containers, government regulation, industrial protocols, etc.)
- Align enablement to revenue generating sales led activities by packaging enablement materials for scalable use in end user (including SI and OEM) engagements.
- Collaborate with other technical competency groups to guide the creation of technical competency training for pre-sales Domain Experts.
- Support the development of learning plans, assessments and other resources to support the commercial and technical enablement needs of Domain Experts.
- Regular engagement and interaction with domain expert teams and leadership, regional Enablement teams, and our businesses is paramount to ensure we understand the perspectives of our stakeholders.
- Collaboration with technical competency teams (RAU), field sales representatives & managers, and commercial portfolio engineering teams is also a large part of creating programs to support Domain Experts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
- 5+ years of technical sales and/or technical implementation experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or a technical discipline
- Technical skills with knowledge of industrial automation products
- Experience in creation and execution of technical enablement strategies or materials
- Knowledge of emerging technologies complementary to industrial automation products and services
- Solid understanding of the role of technical sales enablement in modern sales organizations.
