About the role
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Work closely with developers, QA, and architects to ensure accurate implementation.
- Analyze data flows, system integrations, and dependencies to support solution design.
- Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.
- Perform gap analysis and propose system enhancements or process improvements.
- Support testing by validating test cases against requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues by analyzing logs, system behavior, and data mapping.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and technical discussions.
- Act as subject matter expert (SME) between IT and business teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a technical BA role.
- Strong knowledge of system integrations, APIs, and data flows.
- Proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to create technical documentation (process maps, data flow diagrams, system specifications)
