Contribute to overall success of Ritchie Bros. Financial Services by driving performance and development of sales team.
Accountable for volume, revenue, and conversion metrics; executing business KPIs.
Drive execution within sales teams including expected behaviors and processes.
Execute results, develop people, support best-in-class customer experience, and drive efficiencies and improvements.
Accountable for achieving sales & conversion targets - direct Gross Profit, Book-to-Approve, Look-to-Book.
Generate new business revenue by supporting customers in finding products, solutions and services.
Lead and develop sales teams focusing on team training, effectiveness, and individual growth plans.
Set direction and policies for sales activities and manage execution of plans.
Collaborate with peers, leaders and cross-functional teams to initiate change and improvement.
Drive efficiencies and productivity through sharing best practices and processes.
Represent RBFS Leadership at events and customer engagements.
Utilize Salesforce to document and drive the sales process with customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
3-5 Years sales experience, preference in Financial Sales
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing sales initiatives and business plans to support evolving business goals, including delivering and executing sales growth strategies.
Strong business acumen: knowledge of business theory, business processes and operations, management principles and budgets.
Strong leadership, management and coaching skills are essential.
A high degree of customer service orientation. Ability to build long term relationships with customers.
Previous experience working effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
