About the role
- Manage and mentor internal BPO teams across sourcing, travel and expense, TPRM, and procurement functions.
- Ensure alignment of team goals with Coinbase’s broader financial and operational objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams and a primary external-facing representative for vendor communications and negotiations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize sourcing, travel and expense, and procurement processes.
- Oversee day to day BPO vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with Coinbase’s financial goals and compliance standards.
- Serve as a in time zone escalation point for BPO issues.
- Develop and deploy sourcing strategies that reduce financial, legal, and operational risks, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with TPRM teams to ensure third-party vendors meet Coinbase’s risk and compliance standards.
- Clearly communicate sourcing decisions and their impact to leadership while aligning cross-functional teams on project objectives.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of procurement and expense management processes.
- Drive adoption of best-in-class sourcing practices and foster innovation through cutting-edge tools and technologies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements across sourcing, travel and expense, TPRM, and procurement functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in BPO operations and sourcing/procurement, with at least 1 year in a people management role.
- Proven ability to manage and negotiate multimillion-dollar contracts and vendor relationships.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with demonstrated ability to drive creative problem-solving.
- Experience leading large-scale projects with cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in spend management tools and mitigation frameworks.
- Advanced negotiation skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with expertise in delivering clear, concise recommendations to leadership teams.
