Engineer

• Establish and maintain design standards for controls systems (BMS, EPMS, SCADA)
• Review and approve designs, specifications, and programming for BMS, EPMS, and SCADA
• Lead technical risk assessments, QA/QC, and commissioning approvals
• Oversee integration across mechanical, electrical, and IT/network systems
• Serve as technical gatekeeper reviewing and guiding external design teams, consultants, and contractors
• Ensure uptime across portfolio and compliance with Riot's standards for $100M+ projects
• Drive innovation in automation, cybersecurity, and intelligent building systems
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to the engineering team and support development of controls engineers

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job profiling and sourcing to interviewing and candidate selection
• Provide a positive candidate experience by ensuring a smooth and transparent recruitment process
• Assist with benefits administration and coordinate new hire orientation
• Support offboarding and termination procedures
• Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including employment verification and new hire paperwork
• Manage payroll activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation
• Work with Epicor (or similar payroll/HRIS systems) to maintain payroll and HR records
• Maintain HRIS records and generate reports from databases
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

• Lead the rollout, configuration, and ongoing management of Riot’s internal Procore platform for all projects
• Partner with Procore and third-party providers to tailor workflows, reporting, and integrations (e.g., financial systems, PowerBI, Asana)
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to streamline workflows, contract tracking, document management, and reporting dashboards
• Develop user guides, training programs, and best practices to support company-wide adoption
• Monitor system performance, ensure data integrity, and proactively address issues or updates
• Provide weekly KPI and trend reporting to senior leadership, identifying risks to schedule or budget
• Maintain Procore user access and security compliance, onboarding new employees and supporting stakeholders
• Support related platforms (Asana, Netsuite, etc.) to ensure smooth alignment across tools
• Drive continuous improvement by gathering feedback, identifying pain points, and implementing solutions
