About the role
- Collaborate across the People Team and embed within business units to provide tailored support.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, guiding them on HR-related matters to align with objectives.
- Address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts, fostering a fair, positive, and inclusive workplace culture.
- Provide expert advice and manage HR processes like disciplinary, grievance, and appeal procedures.
- Coach and support managers to drive meaningful performance conversations.
- Analyse people data to uncover trends, inform decisions, and drive business outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and stay up to date with best practices.
- Support change management initiatives, including restructures and future business needs.
- Lead and drive projects that impact the team and wider business, driving continuous improvement and proactive People Team involvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a People Business Partner.
- Strong Employee Relations background with demonstrated success managing complex employee relations cases.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Experience coaching and supporting managers to drive performance conversations.
- Project management skills – ability to manage projects from start to finish.
- Confidence building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Natural ability to resolve conflicts and drive positive outcomes.
- Adaptable, calm under pressure, with strong integrity, confidentiality, and organisational skills.
- Enjoys problem-solving, thinking ahead, and making things happen.
- Experience in a fast-moving tech environment is a bonus.
- Based in Milton Keynes with hybrid working (office days Tuesday and Wednesday).
