About the role
- Research ideal-fit associations and segment prospects by persona, pain, and trigger events.
- Run multichannel cadences (email, phone, LinkedIn, personalized video) to create net-new meetings.
- Position Rhythm’s value by tying platform capabilities to real-world association problems.
- Partner with the BDR Manager to review call recordings, practice objection-handling, and tweak sequences.
- Share effective templates, call snippets, objection responses, and data insights with the team.
- Qualify every conversation (confirm budget, authority, need, and timing) and log clean notes in HubSpot.
- Book and hand off intro calls to Account Executives, ensuring calendar hygiene and context.
- Continuously refine data: flag ICP changes, clean bounce-backs, and update contact roles.
- Onboarding tasks: master Rhythm story via Academy, complete 2-week Outbound Bootcamp, review sales recordings, finish product training, align on 30-60-90 goals, begin outbound execution by Week 4, and book first qualified meetings by Week 6.
Requirements
- Have 1-3 years in sales development or metric-based customer role.
- Write clear, concise outreach and speak confidently on video or phone.
- Love researching organizations and finding creative “hooks” that earn a response.
- Thrive on goals, feedback, and a scoreboard—but never compromise empathy or ethics.
- Bring a self-starter mentality and want to make a direct, tangible impact on a growing company.
- Care about mission-driven organizations and the communities they serve.
- Are based in the United States and comfortable working fully remote.
- Familiarity or experience with: Apple (Mac), Google Workspace, Slack, HubSpot CRM + Sales Hub, Zoom Info, Cause IQ, LinkedIn Navigator, Zoom, Loom.
