About the role

  • Provide excellent technical support to colleagues
  • Manage tickets and requests in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Administer accounts and access requests
  • Provision and deprovision laptops (Mac and Windows)
  • Maintain stock and hardware assets
  • Create and update documentation and end user guides
  • Maintain office equipment (desk equipment, large format displays, meeting room systems, printers)
  • Help the wider team manage a large portfolio of SaaS systems
  • Assist with projects
  • Conduct onboarding sessions with new starters
  • Facilitate the emergency on-call rotation
  • Be on-site in the Chester office 3 days or more per week
  • Be available for on-call 1 in every 3 weeks (compensation/time off in lieu to be agreed)
  • Report to IT Support Manager

Requirements

  • Highly effective in written and verbal communication
  • Good customer communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Be on-site in the Chester office 3 days or more per week
  • Be available for "on call" 1 in every 3 weeks (compensation/time off in lieu to be agreed)
  • Experience or willingness to work with Okta, Office 365, Meraki, JAMF, Zoom, Atlassian
  • Ability to provision and deprovision laptops (Mac and Windows)
  • Ability to maintain stock and hardware assets and office equipment
  • Manage tickets and requests in a timely manner
