Lead and deliver multiple SaaS implementation projects from initiation through deployment, ensuring scope, timeline, and quality objectives are met
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including charters, scopes, work breakdown structures, estimates, resource plans, schedules, budgets, and risk logs, updating plans as requirements evolve
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with technical teams, resource managers, and SMEs to align deliverables with the overall implementation strategy
Co-manage client engagements, including kickoff, scoping sessions, status updates, results presentations, and change requests
Manage customer expectations by understanding business drivers, use cases, and high-level objectives
Identify, track, and mitigate project risks with proactive corrective actions
Coordinate project staffing, defining roles, responsibilities, and resource needs throughout the lifecycle
Lead project meetings and workshops to drive alignment on deliverables, timelines, budgets, and implementation considerations
Monitor daily work progress, conduct quality reviews, and escalate timeline, scope, or resource issues when needed
Oversee project financials, including budget performance, cost controls, and variance management to meet profitability targets
Ensure completion of required project artifacts and adherence to organizational standards and methodologies
Support project handoffs to support teams, ensuring customer acceptance and continuity post-go-live
Provide timely and transparent status reporting on schedule, budget, progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders
Mentor and guide team members on engagement best practices and process improvements
Identify and support opportunities for follow-on work and new scopes with existing clients
Develop hands-on knowledge of the Resource Innovations SaaS platforms.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of hands-on technical project management experience leading complex, multi-functional SaaS or technology implementation projects
Strong preference for candidates with direct experience in utilities, energy efficiency, or Demand Response program management (5+ years or equivalent depth of knowledge)
Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a track record of building, following, and improving structured project workflows
Proven ability to translate customer requirements into actionable project plans through strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining scope, schedules, budgets, and quality standards
Strong customer-facing presence with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and maintain long-term relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication, including documentation, presentations, and stakeholder engagement
PMP or PMI certification preferred, especially where it reflects strong process discipline and methodology adherence
Willing and able to travel to client sites within the U.S. up to approximately 10% of the time.
