About the role
- Manage the recruitment workflow from end to end, including defining job specs, salaries, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and managing offers/rejections
- Coordinate interviews and offers
- Oversee onboarding processes and documentation
- Help build our employer brand to attract top talent
- Promote team engagement and wellbeing, cultivating remote culture and healthy remote working practices
- Plan company events/retreats like Guru Gathering
- Facilitate feedback cycles (surveys, 1:1s)
- Organise seasonal and milestone celebrations (e.g. Christmas gifts, anniversaries)
- Support performance review processes
- Track development goals and learning initiatives
- Recommend training or coaching resources
- Maintain employee handbook and HR policies
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and liaise with external professionals when required
- Manage visa or right-to-work documentation
- Own the HRIS (HiBob)
- Manage time off, sick leave, and benefits
- Handle contracts, changes in terms, references, etc.
- Liaise with finance/payroll providers
- Administer employee benefits and budgets (training/conference/coworking budgets etc.)
Requirements
- A track record of success as a recruiter
- Experienced in recruitment technologies, utilising top attraction channels, job boards, and social networking to build candidate talent pools
- Skilled interviewer, excellent judgment. Quickly assess candidate suitability with diverse techniques
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Quick-thinking and highly detail-oriented
- Great communicator with excellent English
- Confident using AI tools to streamline tasks like drafting docs, onboarding, and surveys, with awareness of limits, compliance, and ethics
- Experience of process creation and documentation
- Experience of managing contracts, compensation and benefits design, onboarding etc
- Performance management
- Excellent organisational skills
- A solid grasp of employment law
- ATS experience
- Comfortable working autonomously and wearing many hats
- Passion for employee wellbeing, engagement, and development
- A CIPD qualification (or a strong desire to train)
- Nice to have: Experience working in a startup or fast-paced company
