About the role
- Own operational and tactical planning for a subset of countries in the Payroll team
- Lead and mentor the Payroll team, providing guidance and unblock support
- Own the complete payroll function ensuring payroll is processed on time and accurately
- Ensure compliance with country-specific government regulations and corporate policies
- Serve as point of contact between internal and external stakeholders on payroll matters
- Stay up to date with various international payroll laws and regulations
- Report to the Senior Manager, Payroll Operations
Requirements
- Some experience in managing regional / global payroll operations
- Understanding of global payroll best practices
- Passionate about managing people and not micromanaging reports
- Proficient in using software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheet
- Analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment
- Productivity-focused, constantly seeking process improvements
- Comfortable working asynchronously
- Experience working remotely is a plus
- Fluent in written and spoken English
