About the role
- contribute to development, evaluation, planning and execution of Internal Medicine clinical studies
- ensure scientific integrity and interpretation of study data
- function as Clinical Scientist for program, and/or as delegate of Therapeutic area Clinical Scientist
- contribute to program team meetings, scientific advisory boards, and study steering committees
- maintain proficient understanding of therapeutic disease area(s) and drug candidate
- utilize proficient scientific expertise to propose, design, and execute clinical research and development studies
- develop the Expanded Synopsis and author clinically relevant sections of clinical trial protocols and amendments
- present data and information to external investigators and internal collaborators
Requirements
- bachelor’s Degree required
- ≥ 10 years of pharmaceutical clinical drug development experience
- basic knowledge of Metabolic disease and/or inflammatory disease areas
- proficient knowledge of the drug development process
- Good Clinical Practice
- solid medical writing skills
- experience in managing trials in cardiovascular, renal, metabolic and/or inflammatory disease
