Therapist

• Provide pulmonary rehabilitation and therapeutic programming to patients enrolled in Recora’s pulmonary rehabilitation program.
• Perform comprehensive health and therapy assessments including physical fitness, medical history, lifestyle habits, and psychological wellbeing.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust rehabilitation plans; track exercise tolerance, heart rate, and blood pressure.
• Verify orders and administer aerosolized medication, bronchial hygiene, volume expansion, and oxygen; deliver oxygen therapy as appropriate.
• Perform pulse oximetry tests and six-minute walk tests (6MWT) and cardiac EKG monitoring during sessions.
• Teach respiratory muscle training, diaphragm and pursed-lip breathing, and promote respiratory health techniques.
• Develop individual treatment plans including exercise prescription and provide behavioral coaching and motivational support.
• Provide education and counseling on health, nutrition, stress management, smoking cessation, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Identify and address barriers to program completion and group education participation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, progress, and communication; record data for program outcomes and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team (pulmonologists, nurses, exercise physiologists, physical therapists, dietitians) and report to Head of Care Operations.

Customer Retention Specialist

• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients identified as at-risk for dropping out of the program.
• Build rapport and trust with patients through proactive outreach via phone, text, and email.
• Maintain regular check-ins to encourage continued participation and adherence to the program.
• Implement and optimize patient retention strategies developed by the Clinical Operations team.
• Track patient progress, attendance, and engagement to identify early signs of disengagement.
• Work collaboratively with care providers to re-engage patients when needed.
• Address patient concerns or barriers that could impact retention (e.g., technical issues, scheduling conflicts, motivation).
• Escalate clinical or urgent issues to appropriate team members (e.g., clinical leads, tech support).
• Monitor key metrics related to retention (e.g., attendance rates, churn).
• Document all outreach and patient interactions accurately in the Provider Portal.
• Provide weekly updates on patient retention trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement to team.
• Work closely with exercise physiologists, and patient support teams to ensure a seamless experience.
• Participate in regular team huddles, strategy meetings, and case reviews to share insights and patient feedback.
• Help patients understand the benefits of the program and the importance of consistency in their care plan.
• Provide motivational support and educational resources to help patients overcome obstacles to engagement

Cardiac Rehabilitation Patient Retention Specialist

Bilingual

• Lead group exercise and wellness sessions for older adults focusing on cardiovascular disease
• Review patient health information prior to goal-setting sessions
• Work with patients on exercises via telehealth/videoconferencing platform
• Implement exercise plans according to current professional and organization standards
• Review patients' progress, evaluating compliance and patient response to exercise
• Lead group exercise sessions for individuals with similar health issues
• Update group exercise programming in collaboration with the clinical operations team and medical director
• Document all information in an accurate, concise, and timely manner
• Collaborate with health coaches, nurses, physicians, and technologists to improve services
• 1099 Contractor; Fully Remote (Pacific or Mountain Time Zone preferred); Monday-Friday 4pm-10pm ET (30 hours/week); Compensation $30 per 60 min session
