Lead group exercise and wellness sessions for older adults focusing on cardiovascular disease
Review patient health information prior to goal-setting sessions
Work with patients on exercises via telehealth/videoconferencing platform
Implement exercise plans according to current professional and organization standards
Review patients' progress, evaluating compliance and patient response to exercise
Lead group exercise sessions for individuals with similar health issues
Update group exercise programming in collaboration with the clinical operations team and medical director
Document all information in an accurate, concise, and timely manner
Collaborate with health coaches, nurses, physicians, and technologists to improve services
1099 Contractor; Fully Remote (Pacific or Mountain Time Zone preferred); Monday-Friday 4pm-10pm ET (30 hours/week); Compensation $30 per 60 min session
Requirements
Passion and enthusiasm for helping people change their lives
Dependable, tech-savvy, detail-oriented with positive personality
Bachelors of Science in exercise or applied physiology, kinesiology or sports medicine
2+ years experience as an exercise physiologist or trainer, focused on helping patients with their cardiovascular health
Experience leading Group classes or Group Fitness Instructor
ACSM or AACVPR Certification is a requirement - either Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP), Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C), Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP)
Some experience working with cardiac patients
Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not necessary.
