About the role
- Seeking an experienced DB2 z/OS Database Administrator with strong skills in administration, performance tuning, and utilities.
- Administer Db2 z/OS databases and perform maintenance using Db2 utilities and recovery procedures.
- Monitor and tune performance using Db2 monitoring tools and Omegamon.
- Develop and optimize SQL; use SPUFI and Query Monitor for queries and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with team and apply Azure and healthcare-related knowledge when applicable.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ hands-on Db2 z/OS administration.
- Strong with Db2 tools (Administration Tools, Query Monitor, Omegamon).
- Proficient in Db2 utilities (LOAD, UNLOAD, RUNSTAT, REORG, COPY, RECOVERY, SPUFI).
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.
- Performance tuning expertise on z/OS.
- Azure and healthcare experience are a plus.
- 12+ above profiles needed.
