About the role

  • Recover administrative access to on-premise FileMaker Server v13 and create new admin credentials for the agency
  • Perform two local backups of the existing on-premise FileMaker database and deliver backup copies
  • Build a new, empty database in FileMaker Cloud and ensure schema matches existing on-premise database (tables, fields, calculations, summaries)
  • Upload the on-premise database copy to FileMaker Cloud and perform pre-upload checks and fixes
  • Verify post-migration accuracy: ensure all records migrated, validate field functionality, randomly test 350 nonsequential records against original on-premise database
  • Deliver certifications and verification reports documenting successful record transfer and proper field functionality

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience recovering FileMaker Server access
  • Experience working with FileMaker Server and FileMaker Cloud
  • Experience transferring on-prem FileMaker databases to FileMaker Cloud
  • Ability to recover admin-level access to on-premise FileMaker Server v13 and create new admin credentials
  • Ability to perform local backups of existing FileMaker databases
  • Ability to recreate schema (tables, fields, calculations, summaries) in FileMaker Cloud to match on-premise database (7,300 records; 45 fields)
  • Experience uploading/migrating on-premise FileMaker databases to FileMaker Cloud and performing pre-upload checks
  • Ability to validate post-migration accuracy, verify records, and certify field functionality
  • Experience verifying large datasets and performing randomized testing (e.g., test 350 nonsequential records against original database)
