Procurement

• Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of maintenance, repair, and operating supplies (MRO)
• Minimize downtime by ensuring part availability while driving cost-saving initiatives across indirect spending categories
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to establish optimal inventory levels
• Manage the "order-to-pay" cycle and address procurement requests
• Analyze spend data and identify cost-saving opportunities

MRO & Indirect Procurement Buyer

• Develop and execute category strategies for MRO items and indirect services to maximize value
• Identify, qualify, and manage key suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to establish optimal inventory levels
• Manage the "order-to-pay" cycle, including creating purchase orders in ERP systems
• Analyze spend data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement TCO-based evaluations
• Ensure adherence to company purchasing policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations

Marketing

• Develop and execute regional and product-specific commercial strategies to drive sustainable margin growth across domestic and export markets
• Originate and manage ingredient trading opportunities throughout North America and international export channels
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with feedlots, integrators, dairy operations, manufacturers, ethanol plants, processors, exporters, and ingredient suppliers
• Identify and develop new ingredient market opportunities and value-added supply channels
• Negotiate purchase and sales contracts while managing pricing exposure and margin risk
• Monitor ingredient markets, freight markets, commodity trends, and competitive dynamics to identify trading opportunities
• Manage risk exposure within established position limits and company policies
• Collaborate with logistics, operations, finance, and regulatory teams to ensure efficient execution of business
• Develop annual business plans, margin targets, and working capital strategies for assigned markets
• Mentor and support junior marketers and contribute to overall commercial team development
• Represent the company professionally within the industry and strengthen market presence across assigned territories
