About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute category strategies for MRO items and indirect services to maximize value
- Identify, qualify, and manage key suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to establish optimal inventory levels
- Manage the "order-to-pay" cycle, including creating purchase orders in ERP systems
- Analyze spend data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement TCO-based evaluations
- Ensure adherence to company purchasing policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5+ years of experience in procurement, specifically in MRO or indirect spending within a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
- Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Excel (data analysis)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Strong understanding of indirect sourcing functions, manufacturing processes and maintenance requirements
