About the role
- Responsible for selling a product line and managing its sales growth
- Work with producers and distributors/dealers to promote a designated line of products
- Seek opportunities to increase revenue from existing accounts
- Act as the account manager for your accounts and lead the account team
- Achieve growth plan objectives related to sales and profitability
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with pricing, programs, and distribution
- Participate in trade shows, meetings, and industry events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Business, or related field
- At least 7 years’ related experience required
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer focused with proven relationship building ability
- Strategic thinking and sales planning
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce)
- Solid understanding of animal health products and industry trends
- Ability to analyze data and apply insights to sales strategies
- Technology proficiency and adaptability
