• Be there for our customers: You will always have an open ear for customers on the phone and provide support at all times, whether they have questions about our charging stations or our mobile app.
• Handle written inquiries: In addition to phone support, you will manage written inquiries, proactively look for new solutions, and collaborate closely with the entire customer care team and other stakeholders at Qwello.
• Optimize and set up internal processes: By interacting with customers you will learn what matters most to them and identify recurring issues. You are encouraged to propose improvements to processes.
• Inspire customers and colleagues: With your friendly, service-oriented manner you will engage customers with our product and be a positive addition to the team.

Systems Engineer

• Drive forward the development of firmware and high level services using Rust and Python, ensuring our charging platform is scalable, testable, and resilient
• Work shoulder to shoulder with our fleet reliability colleagues by building the telemetry and self-healing systems that allow us to detect and resolve faults before the customer plugs in
• Own the Infrastructure. Architect and maintain Bazel and Yocto-based build systems, transforming our CI/CD from a simple script into a hermetic environment that guarantees 100% reproducible cross-compilation builds across multiple hardware generations and architectures
• Drive the root-cause analysis of complex, cross-domain failures (HW/SW/Network) and design the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing frameworks required to automate our quality processes

Backend Engineer

• Design and implement new backend services and serverless code in Python and Rust
• Drive the transformation of our system architecture to meet our business needs and scale to our goals
• Participate in team discussions, code reviews, and planning sessions to learn and contribute
• Help maintain and improve the Qwello backend as part of a backend team
• Experience first-hand with architecting & implementing distributed systems
• Practice hands-on off-premise cloud experience. We use AWS, but experience with Azure, Google Cloud, or similar platforms via laC (Terraform) is also great
• Work in close collaboration with our partners to integrate our services with theirs
• Play a hands-on role in helping the team enhance our service as we continue to expand
