About the role
- You'll focus on the ingestion system, adding new features, fixing bugs, and improving performance and scalability.
- When you're not working on ingest, you'll help the team build the platform that powers the Quantum experience.
- Balance enabling our product requirements with working on advancing our platform to collect even more data at an even higher scale.
- Regularly work alongside our Chief Architect to make sure we're ready for future growth.
- Learn quickly, fail fast, communicate often, pivot gracefully, grow from your mistakes and iterate.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional C++ experience
- Experience with high throughput ingest/data systems
- Database knowledge; BigQuery preferred
- Cloud computing experience
- Minimum 2 years SQL experience
- Experience with GoLang
- Online C++ Skills Assessment via Criteria (10 minutes)
- Nice to Have: Experience with message queues (e.g. kafka, puslar)
- Nice to Have: Familiarity with GCP and it's products
