About the role
- Perform Agile software development for systems that support the client’s mission
- Software development from the requirements gathering phase through coding and testing
- Research issues in existing code and find solutions
- Prepare ad hoc reports and communicate status, including issues and risks, to the team
- Collaborate with team members to reach problem resolution
- Learn new skill sets on the job and contribute to technical solutions
Requirements
- Must have the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a full stack developer
- Experience with React UI or related UI frameworks (Angular)
- Experience with Node.js
- Experience with AWS Cloud Tools
- Ability to understand complex business processes and how they relate to the systems supporting them
- Aptitude for picking up technology quickly, along with a desire to learn and progress
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded
- Demonstrates a passion for solving complex software challenges, and enjoys working and collaborating on a team
- (Preferred) Experience with AWS Lambda
- (Preferred) Experience with the SPA concept and libraries
- (Preferred) Experience with agile and DevOps tools, such as Git, Jenkins, Cloudbees, React Testing Library, and Jest
- (Preferred) Experience with relational database structures, and Dynamo DB
