Define and articulate the Pure Storage value proposition for the Public Sector; conduct in-depth market research and develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including segmentation, messaging, and sales enablement plans
Craft engaging and persuasive content (solution briefs, whitepapers, presentations, website copy, sales playbooks, case studies) and collaborate on Public Sector-specific demos and solution architectures
Equip Public Sector sales teams with knowledge, tools, and resources; deliver training sessions, develop sales collateral, and act as a subject matter expert
Partner with Public Sector team and Growth Marketing to execute integrated campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives; collaborate with sales leadership to identify and pursue key opportunities
Represent Pure Storage at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements focused on the Public Sector; evangelize solutions and share customer success stories
Monitor and analyze competitive activities within the Public Sector and develop strategies to differentiate Pure Storage
Requirements
7+ years of product marketing experience, with a strong focus on enterprise software or hardware solutions; storage experience a big plus
Proven experience in the Public Sector market (Federal, State & Local, Education), understanding procurement processes, regulatory environments, and solution requirements
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Collaborative spirit and proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product management, and corporate marketing teams
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
