About the role

  • Manage 2 long-term care units as part of the leadership team with 24-hour accountability for residents and staff.
  • Mentor, teach and follow up with staff to validate care processes are being followed.
  • Responsible for management of residents/patients and all employees assigned to units including development and implementation of resident-directed service model emphasizing choice, privacy, dignity, individuality and home like environment.
  • Do not participate in admissions or care conferences per role design.
  • Collaborate with leadership and participate in organizational mission and values.

Requirements

  • Education sufficient for licensure
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • 5 years in a leadership and management role in Nursing.
  • 2 years in Long Term care setting including end of life care.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience with palliative care programs
