Manage 2 long-term care units as part of the leadership team with 24-hour accountability for residents and staff.
Mentor, teach and follow up with staff to validate care processes are being followed.
Responsible for management of residents/patients and all employees assigned to units including development and implementation of resident-directed service model emphasizing choice, privacy, dignity, individuality and home like environment.
Do not participate in admissions or care conferences per role design.
Collaborate with leadership and participate in organizational mission and values.
Requirements
Education sufficient for licensure
Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
5 years in a leadership and management role in Nursing.
2 years in Long Term care setting including end of life care.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred: 1 year of experience with palliative care programs
