Ensure residents develop, recover or maintain daily living and work skills with physical, mental or developmental conditions
Plan and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
Assure all therapy is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
Monitor patient response to treatment intervention
Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
Requirements
Valid license to practice occupational therapy
BS degree or greater in occupational therapy
Current knowledge of treatment principles and practices of occupational therapy
Ability to continually learn and grow in the profession
Familiarity with ADL evaluation tools
Proven working experience as an occupational therapist
