• Manage and supervise the dietary staff at WeCare Centers at Heritage Care Center.
• Assume responsibility for team operations based on policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Preform and lead small groups of assistants in food preparation, serving and clean up.
• Often preforms the job assignments of the dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher positions as needed.
• Able to operate a variety of industrial kitchen equipment.
• Provide leadership support and guidance to ensure food quality standards are met.
• Ensure customer service expectations are met.
• Control inventory levels.

Food Service Director

• Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the facility
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, making adjustments to care plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and other safety measures
• Manage staffing levels, including scheduling and shift management
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in nursing administration

• Plan and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Assure all therapy is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention
• Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

Our Director of Nursing is an integral part of the care team that helps enhance the lives of our residence. Our DON is responsible for the nursing clinical department with a full team of support! • Inspect the building and grounds to insure adequacy, operational soundness.
• Provide educational development of maintenance personnel.
• Works collaboratively with Life Safety, NFPA and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Understands importance of effective preventative maintenance program to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment.
• Ensure all applicable licenses are maintained.

Maintenance Director

• Support clinical leadership team in a part-time capacity
• Help organize meetings, schedules, and communications across our interdisciplinary team
• Coordinate with vendors and partners to keep clinical operations running smoothly
• Assist with data reports, audits, and HIPAA-compliant documentation
• Use critical thinking skills to help drive efficiency and improve systems
• Work a minimum of 20 hours per week with 1 day per week in the Cedarhurst, NY office
