About the role
- Provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the health plan's Behavioral Health Utilization Management and Care Management programs across all lines of business
- Accountable for the overall performance, quality, compliance, and financial outcomes of the BH program, including prior authorization, concurrent review, care management, and post service claims review
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educ/experience
- Active, unrestricted clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psychologist, or equivalent behavioral health clinical licensure)
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in behavioral health utilization management, care management, or clinical review within a health plan or managed care setting
- Working knowledge of behavioral health regulatory requirements across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines of business
