About the role
- Oversee Torrance and San Pedro Sterile Processing Departments at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Centers.
- Develops, implements, and manages operational budgets for departments.
- Work collaboratively with Executive Director Perioperative Services to define, manage, and closely monitor the strategic plan for Sterile Processing.
- Maintain strong working relationships with Perioperative and Interventional leadership, clinical and support staff, and physicians throughout the South Bay Ministries.
- Supervise staff, training, and staff development; manage departmental operations and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Business or Healthcare related field.
- Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
- Upon hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
- Upon hire: National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
- Upon hire: National Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
- 3 years Supervisory experience, including training and staff development.
- 5 years Budget with management and analysis.
- 7 years Work experience in the field of Sterile Processing
