About the role
- Prepare and maintain budget templates for sponsored clinical trials
- Perform comparative review of budgets offered by study sponsors
- Set up study payment milestones in the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS)
- Review New Study routing forms and essential study start-up documents
- Conduct itemized cost analysis and interpret clinical protocols into budget milestones
- Provide accurate patient cost descriptions for the ICF to be submitted to the IRB
- Update budget, milestones, and ICF information as necessary per contract/protocol amendments
- Collaborate with study teams and sponsors to ensure timely and accurate budget preparation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years of related experience
- 6 years of direct experience in budget development, preferably in clinical trial or medical setting
- Experience with budget templates and comparative budget review against study sponsors
- Experience setting up study payment milestones in Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS)
- Ability to interpret clinical protocols into budget milestones and itemized cost analysis
- Experience providing accurate patient cost descriptions for informed consent forms (ICF) for IRB submission
- Experience updating budgets, milestones, and ICF information per contract/protocol amendments
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration
- Preferred: 4 years of research grants administration
