About the role
- Coordinate with diverse disciplines, review designs, and manage projects with autonomy
- Prepare specs, evaluate bids, and innovate solutions to technical challenges
- Prepare design studies, project scopes, and engineering estimates
- Prepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications
- Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality with minimal guidance
- Direct and oversee technical work performed by others
- Travel for field installation, checkout, and start-up
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in related field
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Experience supporting modifications of Nuclear Power Plants preferred
- Experience in electrical codes, standards and criteria for power systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of electrical calculations is desired
- Ability to make recommendations based on knowledge and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
- Must be able to perform plant walkdowns
- Must be able to get badged at a nuclear facility
