About the role
- Prepare and maintain budget templates for sponsored clinical trials in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform comparative review against budgets offered by study sponsors
- Set up study payment milestones in the Clinical Trial Management System
- Review New Study routing forms and essential study start-up documents
- Perform itemized cost analysis and interpret clinical protocols into budget milestones
- Provide accurate patient cost descriptions for the ICF to be submitted to the IRB
- Update budget, milestones, and ICF information as necessary per contract/protocol amendments
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years of related experience
- 6 years of direct experience in budget development, preferably in clinical trial or medical setting
- Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration (preferred)
- 4 years of research grants administration (preferred)
- Experience preparing and maintaining budget templates for sponsored clinical trials
- Experience with comparative review of sponsor budgets and setting up study payment milestones in Clinical Trial Management System
- Experience reviewing New Study routing forms and study start-up documents
- Itemized cost analysis and interpretation of clinical protocols into budget milestones
- Ability to provide accurate patient cost descriptions for the ICF to be submitted to the IRB
- Ability to update budgets, milestones, and ICF information per contract/protocol amendments
