About the role

  • Post-sales support for clients and Proficio’s Client Success team, providing technical support for upsell opportunities and regular customer reviews of technical requests, incidents, and operational statistics
  • Build customer loyalty by acting as a trusted adviser; provide problem resolutions, advice, proposals, technical presentations, and other customer communications
  • Conduct periodic checkpoints and reviews to help clients stay ahead of potential challenges and optimize their environment
  • Develop relationships with key business and IT stakeholders and become an expert on a customer’s implementation by understanding their top business goals and priorities
  • Provide timely, proactive recommendations to help customers achieve business goals and improve usage of Proficio’s services
  • Recommend SIEM use cases, tuning, reports and operational procedures to ensure clients get maximum value from services
  • Provide industry expert knowledge using meaningful data to drive account development
  • Effectively communicate technical aspects of Proficio service offerings and best security practices to clients
  • Provide regular analysis and recommendations on the planning and support of Proficio’s services

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of network security infrastructure architecture and products (SIEM, Firewall, IDS/IPS, endpoint, etc.)
  • SIEM content development experience (Elastic Stack/ArcSight/Splunk preferred)
  • Technical Cyber Security related certifications preferred (CISM, Security+, CISSP, ect)
  • Previous experience working for a managed services organization
  • Exceptional communication skills suitable for technical and C-level executives
  • Ability to articulate technical issues and product line both internally and externally
  • Adaptable team player with strong critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, independent, and strong self-study habits
  • Customer lifecycle management experience from inception through all lifecycle stages
  • Collaborative and team-oriented attitude
  • Takes initiative and approaches all tasks and projects proactively
