About the role
- Optimize On-Time In-Full (OTIF) customer delivery performance by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain OTIF tracking and reporting mechanisms; collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to align operational performance with customer commitments.
- Directly manage the Planning and Scheduling function and serve as liaison with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Logistics.
- Lead inventory management strategy to balance service levels, cash flow, and inventory turnover; implement best practices for safety stock and replenishment.
- Use ERP systems and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) to enhance forecasting accuracy, visibility, and responsiveness to demand variability.
- Represent the supply chain function in customer-facing account reviews and operational meetings, providing proactive communication and solutions.
- Track, analyze, and report supply chain-related cost metrics; partner with Purchasing and Logistics to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage and develop U.S. and Mexico-based Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics teams; define roles and foster collaborative culture.
- Travel up to 35–45%, including periodic visits to Mexico operations and customer sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain management experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience using ERP systems and Power BI.
- Proven leadership track record in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 35–45% (including periodic visits to Mexico operations and customer sites).
- Experience supporting Mexico-based operations is a significant plus.
