About the role
- Create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases based on application requirements and user stories.
- Conduct thorough functional and compatibility testing of the smart home application across devices and platforms.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure resolution of identified issues and verify bug fixes.
- Evaluate UI/UX, provide feedback, and work with the design team to implement improvements.
- Identify areas for application improvement, conduct usability testing, and gather user feedback.
- Document and report software bugs and issues for resolution.
- Collect and analyze user data; assist in developing and maintaining data dashboards and reports.
- Monitor operational performance and availability; assist in resolving operational issues with IT and infrastructure teams.
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, or phone; provide solutions and escalate complex issues.
- Assist in creating user guides and tutorials and conduct training sessions for new users.
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions and prepare regular reports on common issues and operational status.
- Handle various ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the team or management.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in software development, data analytics, operational support, user experience, customer support, quality assurance, and UI/UX design.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools
- Meticulous attention to detail in problem-solving, testing, and UI/UX evaluation.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
