About the role

  • Merge business development with program delivery to foster and sustain robust, long-term customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with existing clients and proactively seek expansion opportunities with both current and prospective customers on global, regional, and local scales.
  • Work closely with a team of experts in insights, strategy, implementation, and measurement.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and challenges are addressed.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and project performance and implement strategies to ensure retention and engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to expand scope of services within existing accounts and develop tailored commercial proposals.
  • Lead and respond to international RFPs, manage complex negotiations, and deliver persuasive presentations and pitches.
  • Lead coordination and execution of client projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal consulting teams to align on strategy, resources, and execution plans.
  • Manage client expectations, resolve project-related challenges promptly, and provide insights to internal teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in account management, consulting and business development within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Experience with omnichannel engagement strategies (e.g. medical education, PR, patient support, digital campaigns).
  • Familiarity with data-driven, customer-centric approaches typical of omnichannel programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including commercial strategy, and regulatory affairs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and sustain client relationships.
  • Fluency in English and ideally, one other EU5 language.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously with a high level of organization.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales and client satisfaction targets.
  • An established network of key decision-makers within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Expertise in addressing client needs using data-driven, customer-centric approaches.
