About the role

  • Build and maintain robust, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in pharmaceutical companies
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and challenges are addressed
  • Monitor client satisfaction and project performance, implementing proactive strategies to ensure retention and engagement
  • Actively identify opportunities to expand the scope of services within existing accounts
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities with existing and prospective clients and develop tailored commercial proposals
  • Lead and respond to international RFPs, manage complex negotiations and deliver persuasive presentations and pitches
  • Lead coordination and execution of client projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with internal consulting teams on strategy, resources, and execution plans
  • Manage client expectations, resolve project-related challenges, and provide client-driven feedback to internal teams
  • Report to the account team lead and work across global, regional and local scales with top biopharma clients

Requirements

  • Experience in account management, consulting and business development within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Experience with omnichannel engagement strategies (medical education, PR, patient support, digital campaigns)
  • Familiarity with data-driven, customer-centric approaches for omnichannel programmes
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including commercial strategy and regulatory affairs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and sustain client relationships
  • Fluency in English and ideally one other EU5 language
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously with high organization
  • Proven track record of meeting sales and client satisfaction targets
  • An established network of key decision-makers within the pharmaceutical sector
  • Candidates can be based in Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, the UK, or the Netherlands
