Define and communicate a compelling product vision and roadmap for Motorway’s seller experience, aligned with company objectives
Be seen as a thought leader within Motorway on the seller experience and conversion
Own specific revenue/growth metrics and demonstrate how you are driving value for customers and Motorway
Place 3-5 big strategic bets per year and prioritise the greatest product opportunities
Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists, and other specialists to produce breakthrough work
Drive product development from concept through launch, ensuring quality and customer impact
Use data and experimentation to drive deep understanding and craft compelling storytelling around work
Make complex tradeoff decisions balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities
Establish rigorous experimentation frameworks and run experiments that produce learning
Collaborate across the org on strategic initiatives and quarterly planning
Communicate the what, the how and the why and produce crisp, compelling data-led documentation
Requirements
Solid experience in product management, with a proven track record of shipping products that moved meaningful business metrics, ideally within a world-class B2C product
Highly analytical individual, with excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of data science and machine learning concepts
Ability to talk compellingly on how you utilise data to drive impact, and be able to rigorously debate data approaches with your DS/ML counterparts
Ability to zoom between pixel-level details and quarterly planning without losing coherence
Strong experience with experimentation and AB testing, formulating and testing hypotheses and telling a story based on the data harvested
Thrive translating complex data insights into actionable product strategies
Passionate about user-centric product development, possessing a deep understanding of user research methodologies
Excellent communicator and collaborator, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Results-oriented, adept at delivering projects quickly while adapting to new information/feedback
Passion for product management as a discipline and drive to continuously iterate and improve ways of working
Self-starter and proactive individual with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
A curious mindset and ability to quickly develop strong domain knowledge
