About the role

  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision and roadmap for Motorway’s seller experience, aligned with company objectives
  • Be seen as a thought leader within Motorway on the seller experience and conversion
  • Own specific revenue/growth metrics and demonstrate how you are driving value for customers and Motorway
  • Place 3-5 big strategic bets per year and prioritise the greatest product opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists, and other specialists to produce breakthrough work
  • Drive product development from concept through launch, ensuring quality and customer impact
  • Use data and experimentation to drive deep understanding and craft compelling storytelling around work
  • Make complex tradeoff decisions balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities
  • Establish rigorous experimentation frameworks and run experiments that produce learning
  • Collaborate across the org on strategic initiatives and quarterly planning
  • Communicate the what, the how and the why and produce crisp, compelling data-led documentation

Requirements

  • Solid experience in product management, with a proven track record of shipping products that moved meaningful business metrics, ideally within a world-class B2C product
  • Highly analytical individual, with excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of data science and machine learning concepts
  • Ability to talk compellingly on how you utilise data to drive impact, and be able to rigorously debate data approaches with your DS/ML counterparts
  • Ability to zoom between pixel-level details and quarterly planning without losing coherence
  • Strong experience with experimentation and AB testing, formulating and testing hypotheses and telling a story based on the data harvested
  • Thrive translating complex data insights into actionable product strategies
  • Passionate about user-centric product development, possessing a deep understanding of user research methodologies
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Results-oriented, adept at delivering projects quickly while adapting to new information/feedback
  • Passion for product management as a discipline and drive to continuously iterate and improve ways of working
  • Self-starter and proactive individual with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
  • A curious mindset and ability to quickly develop strong domain knowledge
