💰 $68,800 - $88,300 per year
About the role
- Role: selling PowerSchool professional services to K-12 schools within an assigned territory.\n
- Responsibilities: qualify leads, identify decision makers, determine customer needs, present benefits, build strategic plans, overcome objections, close sales.\n
- Forecasting and quota management: manage weekly forecasts and lead overall services product team goals.\n
- Skills: subject matter expert on Professional Services & Customer Journey; strong consulting and communication capabilities.\n
- Engagement: develop and execute marketing campaigns for territory; liaise with clients on-site, by phone or email; manage expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required\n
- 2+ years’ prior experience in a client facing role, preferably technology sales\n
- Proficient in: MS Office suite products (PPT/Word/Excel) Office 365, SharePoint, and other technical collaborative environments\n
- Previous CRM experience preferred (Salesforce a plus)\n
- Skills: Team player mindset with drive, conviction, and positive energy\n
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills\n
- Excellent oral and written communication skills\n
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills\n
- Sales abilities to meet or exceed sales targets within an assigned territory\n
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and positive work relationships\n
- Preferred: Strong understanding of California edtech and K-12 business\n
- Preferred: Strong understanding of California culture, compliance, and regulations
