About the role
- Drive scaling efforts for Postman Insights to improve latency, reliability, and scale
- Collaborate to set technical vision and roadmap based on business goals and product requirements
- Provide technical leadership on the architecture balancing business goals and existing system realities
- De-risk larger projects by leading proofs of concept and measurement efforts
- Mentor other engineers on your team and across the company
- Lead by example by contributing to product and infrastructure work
- Be hands-on and participate in on-call rotation for a user-facing application
Requirements
- Strong experience with industry standards on streaming data
- Experience being on-call for a user-facing application
- Track record leading engineers to deliver with an impressive portfolio of launched projects
- Track record of leading projects from conception to results with company-wide impact
- Excellent tolerance for chaos and a good sense of humor
- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area
- Nice-to-have: Experience working on a 0-to-1 product
- Nice-to-have: Experience working on B2B product and/or developer tools
