Own the docs for a dedicated feature set and drive all docs efforts around it
Document Postman’s new AI features and author documentation for product releases
Plan documentation in conjunction with product release cycles, working with engineers and product managers
Learn features from specifications, user research, and hands-on experimentation with the product
Assist in management of day-to-day operations of the technical writing team (doc releases, feature scheduling, Jira tracking, release notes, style guide maintenance, editorial reviews)
Deliver high-quality, accurate documentation that aligns with content strategy and serves a broad user base
Liaise with stakeholders across the company to establish and address docs needs
Lead tactical projects to help the docs team succeed in delivering top-tier documentation
Requirements
Problem solver — comfortable with shifting priorities
Strong communicator — experienced in writing technical material
Self-directed learner — ability to pick up tech skills with minimum support
Experience using and documenting SaaS products
Documenting AI products is a plus
Experience with Docs as Code/Docs like Code approach (nice to have)
Experience writing Markdown-based content (nice to have)
Experience working in an Agile environment (nice to have)
Experience using source control systems, especially Git (nice to have)
Minimum Bachelor’s degree
8+ years of technical writing experience
