About the role

  • Oversee day-to-day branch operations and act as the site manager of the location.
  • Supervise daily activities of retail branch personnel; assign work, schedule staff, and provide training.
  • Ensure bank policy and procedures are followed and branch compliance with bank policies and guidelines.
  • Perform personal banking duties including advising customers of bank services, opening new accounts, and teller functions.
  • Supervise employees to meet branch goals including fee income and meeting budget; conduct performance reviews and recommend salary actions.
  • Promote bank services and participate in community professional and personal activities.
  • Perform customer service duties such as answering telephone inquiries, closing accounts, ordering checks, and ensuring appropriate customer service levels.
  • Review reports, audit board items, and NSFs.
  • Assist with budget preparation and perform other duties/projects as assigned.
  • Work schedule: Monday through Friday 8-5 with rotating Saturdays.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Prefer 4 – 6 years related banking experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Full knowledge of banking products offered; taking a personal initiative to stay updated on any changes.
  • Basic knowledge of all banking regulations applicable to the job function and of all bank policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge and expertise in all deposit account products and services.
  • Knowledge of bank operations.
  • Knowledge and work experience that demonstrates effective abilities to supervise the department.
  • Skill in communicating with clients and co-workers in courteous and professional manner.
  • Skill in operating computer terminals and printers, back counter capture machine, coin machine and copier.
  • Skills in supervision.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to train employees.
  • Ability to ensure appropriate efficiency, accuracy, and customer service for customers.
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to function as a team player.
  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Bilingual a plus.
