About the role
- Provide strategic oversight of risk management across various product areas
- Ensure appropriate risk controls are in place
- Facilitate risk reporting to the Board and management committees
- Lead regular risk assessments
- Promote strong risk culture within the organization
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in risk leadership within financial services
- Strong strategic risk management expertise and understanding of risk management frameworks
- Ability to lead risk-related initiatives
- Experience of presenting board papers to Exec level
- Broad depth and understanding across individual annuities, smoothed managed funds, bulk pricing annuities, and asset management
- Degree in Finance, Risk, Actuarial Science, or related field
- Professional certifications (e.g. IRM, CFA, FRM, CERA) are desirable
