About the role
- Drive supplier negotiations and implement corrective measures to optimize agreements
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Foster strong supplier relationships and leverage technology to enhance procurement effectiveness and innovation
- Formulate and execute cross-functional sourcing strategies and contribute to Make or Buy decisions
- Interact with senior management to align category management efforts and unlock value from third-party purchases
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices for SaaS/Cloud security
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in managing complex agreements
- In-depth understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Ability to analyze and drive SaaS/Cloud cost optimization initiatives
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant discipline OR minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience in place of a bachelor’s degree
- Additional certifications (Lean/Six Sigma, Design to Cost/Clean sheet, Project management) – an advantage
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices for SaaS/Cloud security and compliance
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- US work authorization (no sponsorship)
- Must reside in or within commuting distance to Bothell, WA or Cambridge, MA
